Nineteen members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots firefighting team tragically lost their lives on June 30, 2013, while fighting a fire in Yarnell, Arizona. This WOD is in memory of them.

Class times will be 8am and 9am~please be prepared as the 8am class may run over depending on the class size~ with an afternoon session (for those who have to work) @ 4pm. There will be scaling options as well as a beginner version for those of you coming for our weekly trial class. Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no drop in charge for Hero event WODs at CFRT. Labor Day Schedule: Monday, open all day with regular scheduled class times. We will also be hanging out, playing a little horse or cornhole and busting out the grill after the noon class.

    Big ups to Mike and Phil for their inspiring work, had chills watching you guys bring it home on the last run. Great work everyone else, too. So great to see people grinding it out and encouraging one another on the trail during the runs.

  4. Awesome job today everyone! Today was the first WOD I have ever done in turnout gear. It was tough but well worth it. The highlight of my day was making the turn on our final run and realizing we had the entire box with us! Thank you everyone for your motivation and support. Mike you Sir are a BEAST! Not only did you RX the WOD but you also kept full gear on the entire time. It is days like today that I am Proud to be able to call myself a Rail Trailer! Thanks again

    Got 42;15 on Hot Shots 19, utilized poles to do squats – first time i’ve done squats in a WOD since my surgery Cleaned 115#, used green band for pull-ups and rowed the 400m!!! FELT AMAZING AND SO THANKFUL FOR THOSE WHO COULDN’T BE HERE WITH US!
