The Back Space..Name TBD

We picked up the flooring for the back space this week and will be installing it tomorrow afternoon! The rig will follow soon as well. This space will be used as overflow for our larger classes but also for peeps to come in and work strength, goats, catch up on a WOD they missed during the week and as a pre/post wod warm up and mobility space.

Now we need your help, what shall we call this space?  There have been some suggestions. After an evening of “fun” Monsini suggested “The Boom Boom Room”. We actually found it fitting seeing how the space will be used to get after some heavy lifting..hence, the BOOM! Also because it will be a lot of fun back there, which we hear happens in most “Boom Boom” rooms 😉 Another suggestion came from Laurie. After arriving early for class today, only to witness the carnage that had just taken place, she casually mentioned that it may not have been best to see what she was about to endure. Upon hearing about the upcoming back space she said, oh kind of like an Isolation Room! We got a kick out of that and figured we would throw that one in the ring as well.

Are there any other suggestions guys? Lets get creative, then we will put it to a vote!

  2. Awesome job Saturday 8am!!! Got 11:24 on Costello, worked with RX on Dl’s, did 100m farmer carries w/35 on each, and ring dips—which felt amazing by the way! It was great working on those with Mike the other day!!!

  3. Very fun morning, you guys get us going on a Saturday morning. Awesome effort all around, see everyone tomorrow for some burpees!

    Instead of deadlifts I had to do squats with a med ball; thanks for the sciatica-modification-help, Mike! Ran with a 25lb plate, followed by ring rows and dips.
