Fantastic first week CFRT! We are beyond proud off the attendance, work ethic, integrity, WOD posting , the list goes on and on! I’m not going to going to babble too much tonight, but I would like to ask you guys a favor though. I would love if everyone would post to comments in no more than one sentence what CFRT has meant to you so far. We want our motto to embody how this community makes you feel. I know its early on, but would love your feelings thus far. Thanks and lets keep going strong CFRT!!

  1. I have talked to many people that do crossfit and mentioned how crossfit rail trail does not allow any member to start unless they attend all the required elements class. They were shocked because there gyms never had them do that.

    I was in an elements class this week and one of the member’s looked at me and said “I’ve been doing this for two years at another gym, I was never taught the correct way to do a dead lift. Been doing it wrong the whole time.”

    I think it’s great that you require members to take the elements class because then everyone learns the proper technique and the risk of injury, is that much lower.

    Thanks for requiring the class, for being awesome instructors, opening a crossfit in Hudson and I cannot wait to see my results!

    Crossfit Rail Trail is top on my list!

  3. I can’t even believe what I’ve accomplished this week and it’s only the first one! It truly means a lot that Mike, Sarah and PJ see us for who we are and also our potential, no matter our fitness level. Thanks so much for your hard work and all the preparation and time you have put in behind the scenes. I think we’re all excited to see the CFRT community continue to grow.

    Now per CFRT recommendations I shall hydrate, take a mineral supplement, mobilize, hydrate more and eat…in that order.

    Then I’m going to go watch Kelly G in Everett because she’s doing something seriously cool today!

  6. CFRT is more than just a gym filled with people who go there to workout. I can’t speak for everyone else but for me CFRT is a group of individuals from different places, at different stages in life who all share a common mindset. We’re not only there to improve our fitness but to break our comfort barriers, to exceed our expectations and to improve our life as a whole. And to help others do the same. That’s what makes the “community”. That’s what makes it (for me) a lifestyle.

    I believe with a solid group and the proper guidance (mike,Sarah,pj), we can all accomplish whatever it is we set out to do.

    Sorry for ranting but it fires me up.. I guess if I have to sum it up in just one sentence I’d say, CFRT is f*ckin’ awesome.

    I’m sure we can all agree on that
